ProForge can crusher is a very simple tool that is made from a steel material and can be used to compress aluminum cans up to 12 oz size. The crusher is easy to use and crushing of cans does not require a lot of effort.

ProForge can crusher has got heavy duty steel construction. The unit features a full steel body and a crushing mechanism that consists of a crushing plate, rivets, hinges and a long handle. Thanks to the long handle the crusher can compress 12 oz aluminum cans with ease. At the end of the handle there is a soft grip to add extra comfort when crushing cans. The tool can only be used to compress cans from aluminum and shouldn’t be used to compress cans from more durable materials such as tin or steel.

ProForger can crusher can be bought in two colors – black and grey. The design of the tool is very similar to steel can crushers made by many other companies, the looks of the tool are not very pleasing, but it does the job and crushes aluminum cans. This tool can be used in any place where can crushing is needed such as at home in kitchen or garage, at office, in school and other places. The crusher can also be used outdoors, but we do not recommend it, because after some usage the coating of the tool will come off and it will start to rust when left outside.

Tool comes with all mounting hardware needed to install it to a wall. At the bottom of the unit there is bottle opener, which is useful if you are also drinking from glass bottles not only from aluminum cans.

Usage

As mentioned the usage of the tool is very simple. First you need to install the crusher to a vertical, sturdy surface, preferably to a wooden wall. If you don’t have a wall from wood or other durable material in your apartment or simply don’t want to drill holes in your wall, we suggest that you install the crusher to a wooden plank and than just stick it to a wall. When the crusher is installed you will need to lubricate all moving parts of the crusher, which includes the crushing mechanism. If you fail to do it, the metal parts of the crusher will rub one against another that will add unnecessary force to the crusher and might damage the unit after some time. When everything has been set up, you can start to use the crusher. First pull the handle up, insert an empty aluminum can into the crusher and bend the sides of the can a bit, so it is easier for you and the tool to compress that can, next align the can properly in the middle of the opening of crusher and pull down the handle, this will compress the aluminum can. Than take the compressed aluminum can out of the crusher and throw it into a trash. Simple and easy to do.
