EZ Can Crusher is very simple looking device, that can crush aluminum cans. This can crusher will work with 12 oz aluminum cans, but in opposite to most wall mounted crushers, it won’t take cans in much smaller or larger size, as the crushing mechanism of this tool is made to compress only 12 oz cans.

Polyurethane will not rust in opposite to metal, so EZ crusher can also be used outdoors. Although plastic may not seem like the most durable material for such a tool as can crusher, actually it feels very sturdy and will crush 12 oz aluminum cans without problems. It is not recommended to use this tool for crushing steel food cans, as it may damage the tool.

From the practical side, this crusher uses different can compression mechanism than most vertical crushers. It will compress cans from the side and not from the top as wall mounted crushers. To crush an aluminum can, pull the leveler back, put in an empty 12 oz aluminum can into the opening, line the can precisely into the opening and press down the leveler. This will firstly dent the can from the side and than fold it completely, which will make the ends of the can go up and the middle of the can will be flat. We found that the crushing process using this can crusher is more difficult than using most wall mounted crushers, because more force is needed to fold cans fully in the middle. If you do not mount the crusher to a table and let it stand freely on the table when crushing cans, it will be even more difficult to completely bend them. Also this multi position crusher cannot compress cans to such a small size like wall mounted crushers.
